Heather’s Review:

Truth time… watching Pirate Gold of Adak Island was a total mistake. I was moving the remote from one spot to another and accidentally clicked on it. The first episode had my husband, and me hooked. We were excited about the story and the possibility of this group of experts possibly finding $365,000,000. Unfortunately, that excitement was very short-lived. By the second episode, my husband lost interest, and I found myself doing other things while it played in the background. Each episode just felt a little repetitive to the ones before it. I love a good reality show, but this one felt a little scripted. Based on how it ended, it seems they may have a second season. I would likely watch it if they did, but it’s not at the top of my list.

I give Pirate Gold of Adak Island on Netflix 3 out of 5 stars.

  1. I just watched this one and couldn’t agree more with what you said. It did feel like most of it was staged.
