Book Summary:

Would you defend your husband if he was accused of killing his mistress?

Sarah Morgan is a successful and powerful defense attorney in Washington, D.C. At 33 years old, she is a named partner at her firm, and life is going exactly how she planned.

The same cannot be said for her husband, Adam. He is a struggling writer who has had little success in his career. He tires of his and Sarah’s relationship as she is constantly working.

In the secluded woods, Adam and Sarah’s second home, Adam engages in a passionate affair with Kelly Summers.

Then, one morning everything changes. Adam is arrested for Kelly’s murder. She had been found stabbed to death in Adam and Sarah’s second home.

Sarah soon finds herself playing the defender for her husband, a man accused of murdering his mistress.

But is Adam guilty, or is he innocent?

Heather’s Review:

I learned about this book totally by accident. I was scrolling on Facebook when someone mentioned that they read it and loved the twists and turns. She also mentioned that they were offering it for free on Kindle, which sounded great to me. I’ve never been a fan of Kindle. I love the smell of books. I love holding them in my hand and seeing how far I’ve gotten when I place the bookmark. But, I have to tell you, after reading The Perfect Marriage on Kindle, I may just download more books! Every review on Amazon I read spoke about the same thing… “the ending.” I’d like to think that I’m pretty good at predicting the ending to things — but I DID NOT predict this ending. I finished this one in just a few days, which is huge for someone who doesn’t read more than 1-2 books a year. It was easy to read and kept me wanting to read just one more chapter before I put my phone down.

I give The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose 5 out of 5 stars.
