Summary:

My mom & I went to the movies to watch The Invitation. It was a surprisingly well-done horror/suspense/thriller about a young woman yearning for a family. Evelyn ‘Evie’ does a DNA ancestry to find some family after her mom’s death. She may have gotten much more than she bargained for when she accompanies a distant cousin (by marriage) to a wedding in the English countryside. The movie had suspense, horror, a strong storyline, action, great acting, and likable characters. I really liked this one!

I give The Invitation on Netflix 5 out of 5 stars.
