Heather’s Review:
My 16-year-old and I sat down to watch this documentary together, excited to hear some new facts revealed about Marilyn Monroe’s death. We found ourselves just minutes in, losing interest quickly. The only thing we could say by the documentary’s end was, “That’s it?” We found that there was no new evidence, as the trailer insinuated. Listening to her friends tell a tale that has already been told felt disappointing in many ways. If you are hoping to learn more about Marilyn, this is not the documentary to watch unless you know nothing about her.
I give The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes on Netflix 2 out of 5 stars.
