Heather’s Review:
I wasn’t sure about this one, but I absolutely adore Maya Rudolph and knew I had to watch it. Loot definitely has some moments where I laughed out loud (one that I hit the rewind button on multiple times and showed my entire family because I couldn’t stop laughing). Although it’s listed as a comedy, it’s packed with drama and some very important, real-world messages. I don’t typically love a show where people are uber-rich. Those shows tend to make me feel less-than. But this one was different. The only thing that I was jealous of was that giant candy room in Molly’s house. Who wouldn’t love one of those?! I’m looking forward to Season 2 and watching Molly transform into who she was always meant to be.
I give Loot on Apple TV+ 4 out of 5 stars.
