Heather’s Review:

This was a tough one for me to watch. I took a bit to get into the story, though I am glad I stuck it out. While I believe it was a well-put-together documentary, I concluded pretty early on who I thought was responsible for the murders and the cover-up. I prefer documentaries that have twists and turns and keep you guessing. Also, the disappointing part of this docuseries was that it was based on assumptions and opinions, and we never got a factual answer. I’m not sure if this was the plan; hoping someone would see it and provide some answers, but it left things very open-ended.

I give Murder in the Bayou on Showtime 4 out of 5 stars.
