Severance is a series on Apple TV+ about a near-future dystopian company that has created a severance procedure. Employees who work on the severed floor undergo the procedure to have their memories split between work and home.

Have you ever sat at a table with people having a conversation that makes no sense to you? You might feel you aren’t smart enough to contribute or can’t understand everything they are saying. That’s how this show made me feel… at first. I had a really hard time getting into Severance. I kept saying how bizarre it was and questioned my choice to watch it. But with 14 Emmy Nominations and Ben Stiller as the Director, I knew that it was something worth finishing. The show finally got and kept my full attention three or so episodes in, and I was hooked.
While the show leaves us with way more questions than answers, I was at the edge of my seat throughout the final episode. I’m eagerly awaiting the announcement of Season 2.
I give Severance on Apple TV+ 5 out of 5 stars.
