Marianna’s Review:
Get ready for a Lifetime/Hallmark movie on Netflix. While the camera angles and actors are better — the storyline is very much the same and predictable. It’s a cute movie to put on while wrapping gifts or baking. You don’t really have to pay too much attention to know what is going on, and I was OK with that. It is based on a book by Richard Paul Evans and contains all of the elements a movie of this genre needs. Family estrangement, love, loss. While some might like the unresolved ending left to the viewers’ imagination, I would have preferred a nice ribbon and bow around it.
I give The Noel Diary on Netflix 4 out of 5 stars.
