This mini-docuseries goes behind the cultural phenomenon of Barney the Dinosaur and how polarizing his fame was. I was a child during the height of Barney and had no clue of the anger and hate created around the show and song. The documentary gives insight into the power of the media when the internet was new, the rise of the purple dinosaur, and what led to the show’s eventual end.
I give I Love You, You Hate Me on Netflix 4 out of 5 stars.
