Heather’s Review:
There is so much to unpack in this docuseries. There is never a dull moment, from the weight loss to the cult to her wild hair and makeup. I watched all five episodes in one sitting and was thrilled to find out that there was a part two. I couldn’t recommend The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin more.
I give The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin on HBO Max 5 out of 5 stars.
