Heather’s Review:

First, I must admit that I wanted to watch this original Netflix movie mainly because Jennifer Aniston was in it. But as you watch, you feel connected to the main character Willowdean because she is a teenager trying to figure out who she is in this world, just as we all are at that age and maybe still are. Dealing with loss, identity, friendships, boy issues, and the mother-daughter relationship is tough to manage; these are hard enough without trying to start a “revolution,” shall we say. This is the one if you want a feel-good movie to watch with your daughter or family. Maybe it will inspire your young ones or even you to look deeper into everyday life.

I give Dumplin’ on Netflix 5 out of 5 stars.
