Heather’s Review:

The funny thing about this documentary is that I thought I remembered watching it when it was released in 2018. I remember telling my husband that he had to watch it (and thought I had possibly watched it a second time with him). Yet when I went to write this review, I couldn’t remember exactly what it was about. Ahhh, getting old is awesome, isn’t it? So, I sat down and watched all four parts again to give you a decent review aside from “I think it was good.” As soon as I finished it, I can tell you that I’m sure I never finished watching it, or I was multitasking and not paying full attention to it.

But now that I have watched all four episodes, I can tell you that this story is one you can’t make up. It’s packed with manipulation, lies, and obsessed lovers. They could interview enough people to figure out what really happened, even though most of the participants never told the full truth.

I give Evil Genius: The True Story of America’s Most Diabolical Bank Heist on Netflix 5 out of 5 stars.
