Lucia’s Review:

Keep Breathing is a survivor thriller that focuses on the past and present struggles of our main character Olivia. The show started great. The storytelling was beautiful, and watching Olivia persist in the face of adversity while trying to work through her issues was inspiring. I was hooked, anxiously watching and hoping that all would end well for Olivia.

But after the 4th episode, the show became less and less enjoyable. There were more flashbacks than I could count, and it took up a good portion of the last two episodes. I don’t mind a few flashbacks here and there, but there is a point where it gets to be too much.

It was overbearing, and instead of keeping me invested, I counted the seconds until the show was finished.

While Melissa Berrera’s acting was amazing, I’m sad to say that it wasn’t enough to save this show.

I give Keep Breathing on Netflix 2.5 out of 5 stars.
