Heather’s Review:

The trailer for Surface intrigued me immediately. I found myself trying to solve the mystery almost instantly and was pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns I never expected. That said, I think the series starts a bit slow, and it took me a few episodes to get into it.

There are still moments that I don’t quite understand and may need to go back and re-watch eventually. There were many parts that seemed unnecessary or weren’t developed enough to make sense of the story as a whole.

The cast was chosen perfectly. I watched The Morning Show simultaneously and realized that Gugu was in both shows. She is an incredible actress, and I look forward to seeing her in more shows and movies.

The series ended well, making me excited to see Season 2 and how they develop the story even more. I’m hopeful that it will get better.

I give Surface on Apple TV 4 out of 5 stars.
