I was told to keep an eye out for this documentary on Instagram. I happened to be on a family vacation the day it was released and wound up watching half of it on my phone while my family slept in our hotel room. I’m shocked at so many things about this story, but first and foremost, I had personally never heard of Hunter Moore until this documentary was released. I had no idea his site ever existed. Of course, as a woman and a Mother, I was completely disgusted but not entirely surprised that people like this exist. I’m shocked that it took years to bring him down. I’m shocked at what the repercussions were. I’m shocked at what I found out once I finished and googled “Where is Hunter Moore now.” This is a must-watch. I would also check out the Vice Video above that goes a little more in-depth on parts of the story.
I give The Most Hated Man on the Internet on Netflix 4.5 out of 5 stars.
