Book Summary:

Where love, fashion, and tragedy collide in search of true destiny.

Jennifer Marshall is a textile designer transforming the world of high fashion. She soars in her career, collaborating with top designers to create some of the most innovative textiles and modern successes. But her personal life is bittersweet. She is torn between the love of two men, neither of whom is fully hers. She carefully guards her privacy and her secret double life while trying to steer a path toward clarity and who is her destiny.

Paul Summers captivates Jennifer with a chemistry that makes her skin tingle, but he is emotionally unavailable. Josh Russo touches her soul at its very core; from the beginning, they feel like they are old friends.

A tragic accident rips Jennifer from her everyday life, fracturing her body and thrusting her into a coma. In this dream state, one perfect mate resides in her mind, and she lives in an idyllic fantasy world filled with mermaid beauty, freedom, and complete love. Their lives go on, unaware of Jennifer’s struggle for her very life, and a new guardian emerges who is determined to know her and bring her back from the brink.

It takes a full circle of time and healing for Jennifer to realize what she had, what she lost, and what really matters.

Alije’s Review:

Coasters is a twisting, turning, heartbreaking novel that raises provocative moral questions while developing truly unique relationships between the three main characters; it is a compulsive page-turner thanks to the vibrancy of its main characters! This book was engaging, funny, and sad at the same time, it is not a typical love story, but it is quick-witted and emotional! Jennifer Marshall is the main character who is a textile designer, she collaborates with top designers, and her career has never been better, but she is experiencing herself in a triangle and has to find her destiny as soon as possible; after a tragedy, nothing is the same for her, and now she has to fight to claim what she has lost!
.
The risky decisions, challenging and tragic moments, hopeless days and nights from three different characters, a heartwarming and admirably crafted story that captures the moments of convergence between choice and regret! The Author Jacqueline has put some fascinating elements about the fashion industry. My mind and heart were gripped by the outstanding background, marvelous details, and breathtaking writing!
.
This book was skilfully and beautifully written. I fell in love with the Author’s compelling and lyrical prose. The description is gorgeous and complete, and it is a tastefully albeit explicitly, truthfully, and sensitively told story! The kind of books that I fall in love with is the kind that makes me physically feel the emotion portrayed within the pages regardless of genre or subject matter, this book was definitely that for me, and my thoughts will drift back to this story for quite a while! I recommend this book to anyone who longs for that passion that only a well-written story can bring!

I give Coasters by Jacqueline Britton 5 out of 5 stars.
