Let’s talk about Do You Know Mordechai?, hosted by Kathleen Goldhar. Mordechai Horowitz seemed perfect. Smart. Rich. Creative. But like so many things that seem to be perfect – it was too good to be true.

In the genre-bending podcast, Do You Know Mordechai? it was all going so well. Arya had finally fallen in love again after a tough divorce, and Mordechai was everything: quirky, fun and attentive. Her friend Kathleen was delighted for her, although a little wary of what she thought were some red flags. Then came that fateful Sunday night when a knock on the door revealed a woman who asked, “Do you know Mordechai?” The series is a story that questions friendship, belonging, lies and love. Kathleen Goldhar, Michelle Shephard, Stuart Coxe, USG Audio and Antica Productions are producers.
I’m particularly fascinated by these types of stories. The guy who is out there scamming women full-time. You’d think with the number of stories out there such as Love Fraud, Bad Vegan and The Tinder Swindler, just to name a couple, that men would be less likely to think they can get away with it. Yet somehow, these stories still exist to provide us with entertainment. I loved the personal aspect of Do You Know Mordechai. Having a friend tell your story and really care about uncovering the truth for you, makes a story that much better.
I give Do You Know Mordechai? 5 out of 5 stars.
